Why I Coach
In service of others. I've spent much of my life looking after other people. For me, becoming a mum has been mostly about learning to trust and follow my instincts. Now I help fellow mums become the best mums they can be.

I have always been intensely interested in what it is to be human. As a child, creative drama played a huge role in my life – I was always curious about character motivations and the stories we tell ourselves. In my late twenties I completed an intense, foundation year on an extra curricular Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy course at The Minster Centre in Queensway, London.
Career-wise, in my life BK (Before Kids!) I became an Executive Assistant to high profile CEOs in the media industry. I was on call 24/7 and the duties were as varied as it's possible to imagine. Essentially it was my job to help these Execs be the best they could be. It was all consuming, rewarding and stressful at times – sound familiar mums?! I loved it. Moreover, the skills needed for my work were exactly those I tapped into the day I started Mumming Around with my first-born: organisation, resourcefulness, diligence, patience, resilience, compassion – to name just a handful of those needed to raise kids.

So although I decided against going into Counselling and Psychotherapy, as I emerged from the fog of having babies two years apart, the global pandemic of 2020 hit and my mind was made up. Just like in my life BK, I am inspired to help people be their best through a present and future focused, solution oriented intervention. Being married to a corporate coach played a huge part in steering me towards the coaching discipline. I want to help other mums find ways to be the best they can be for themselves and for their kids. I spent my 2020 lockdown evenings studying with The Coaching Academy and I’m ready to help. If there are any areas of your life where you feel you're not living the way you really want, please get in touch, I’d love to work with you on unlocking the rest of your potential!
